The Toils Of Testing MMPI-2 The Toils of Testing MMPI-2 is an effort to put forward test interpretations tied to specific test criteria. The MMPI interpretations are focused on these four categories.

Credibility. The truthfulness of the interpretations and the testing situations and personal circumstances that generate them is addressed.

The Toils of Testing MMPI-2 section is devoted to the possible group descriptions that may associate with an individuals psychological functioning. Each interpretive statement stems from a set testing result. Included are One and Two Point Scale Elevations, Skinner's Modal Profiles, Scales Associated with Specific Pathologies, Gilberstadt P Scales, and Frequently Observed Symptoms by Code Type amongst others.

A separate section detailing the major one and two point elevations is included.

The R-profile section reflects the work of Robert Owens. Profile correlations date from studies are presented. The calculation guide permits entering MMPI-2 Tscore data into an Excel sheet. The Cattell profile correlations are produced along with the significance of the profile shape associations for each individual profile with the groups data. The studies are listed both in the calculation guide and as a bibliography.
